Bereavement Conference
Our family was given the privilege of sharing the story of our angels at the Bereavement Conference at Women's Hospital this morning. We were able to share the mission of this group and the importance of the cause. The message seemed extremely well-received and we saw a wave of light-bulbs going off as each family shared their story. For those in the NC area...we have a hospital that is in great need of clothing of any nature for their bereavement supply. Please comment or send me an email if you think you can help out. elizabeth@raindropmemories.org

Ryan's Day
Today we celebrated Ryan's first Heaven Day. Many of us wore red today to honor him. People sent in a flood of pictures of themselves wearing red and pictures of his name. We collected hand-made diapers/blankets, fabric, pins, ribbon, and monetary contributions for Raindrop Memories. Our family appreciated the love and support that poured out towards us today so much! We hope to apply some of the generous monetary contributions of the community towards our 501 c(3) application. We are currently researching law services in NC to assist us with this process. Thanks for celebrating Ryan with us!!

Sponsor RM without Paying any $
Please consider downloading the "igive" button for your browser to support Raindrop Memories. It is FREE.
http://www.igive.com//8KXwkj3
What happens when you do this?
1) A tiny little icon sits next to your browser bar.
2) When you shop online, merchants donate a percentage of your purchase
to our cause (this doesn't cost you or Raindrop Memories anything....it
is FREE and does not add on to your total. It is merchants' way of
giving back).
3) When the total donated from merchants reaches a minimum of $25, Raindrop Memories gets a check.
So far we have 2 people enrolled and our earned total is $3.70.

Announcement
Announcement: due to the recent influx of requests for memory items from individuals, we are enacting a new policy. We will continue to accept requests for mailed packages for as long as we have a supply of memory items. We will ask that you make a minimum donation of $6 to cover the cost of shipping/packaging. We do have a couple of outstanding requests that we will honor. The new policy will affect requests from 1/26/13 and beyond. Thank you for your understanding! Most of our efforts are local to hospitals and offices in NC, but we will gladly continue to fulfill requests elsewhere with a minimum donation of $6.

Everly's Day
One of our angel mommies has recently graduated from fabric trimmer/diaper flipper extraordinaire to seamstress! Olivia Allen hosted a very special sewing event for her angel, Everly's first "angelversary". You can read about sweet Everly on our angel page. She had friends and family come together to help complete 500 Teeny Tears Diapers! (click to read Olivia's feature on the Teeny Tear's blog)
We are so proud to have such wonderful volunteers; many of us are parents of angels who have found strength, camaraderie, and healing through helping others. Here are some pictures from the event.
